Thank you for your interest in the role of Head of Environment and Community Service at Castle Point Borough Council.

The last four years has seen some spectacular improvements at Castle Point as the Council has transformed itself into an organisation that now performs well and plans for the future. Our objectives for the community remain the same as we improve the environment, regenerate our community and provide more homes whilst improving an already safe borough.

Our ambition to improve the council continues and we now have a clear route map which shows what we think an excellent borough should look and feel like. Delivery of these ambitions means that there are still many exciting days ahead for all of us who work here. We are now a 'good' council and implementing projects and practices which are of national significance.

We have created this new role to build on the success we have already achieved. You will be joining an enthusiastic corporate management team who thrive on challenges and have collectively delivered sustainable high level performance. Your job will be to ensure services continue to improve and develop, matching our high level ambitions for quality and delivery.
